I have one complaint number 386663 on homeshop18,all your promises seams to be fake the complaint is not yet attended by any one since last 1.5 months time and i chassing with your service team the call center number 18001800918, every executives (Alok, Asahi,Garima) is noting and saying "not problem sir, we have forwarded your complaint and the product will be replaced or you will be refunded the money in full."
Ashish, Alok "Our technical people will call you in next 72 hrs....."
Garima said "within 2 hrs you will a call"

72 hrs, 2 hrs , by evening etc, but its more than 72 days over the complint is not listen and no solution is provided as now.

I am surprised that such a big brand from the great family of TV18 CNBC.

Please find some time and do focus on what customers are saying.

Dear homeshop18's customer's,i m working with homeshome18 from year back and i saw every customer is happy with the services of my company hs18,i got so much good experience with the cust who are shopping with my company from last 2 years,i can named those customer's but its a huge and giganic list,infact our back-end dept. is woking with us on our operation floor with mr. saurabh srivastave,we have assigned new good team who is handling existing cust's queries and solving their complaint hand to hand,but i agreed 100% cust's are not happy but 98% cust's are happy,and i think its good ratio,,,,,,so dear dissatisfy and frustrated existing cust's keep patience make call between 9 am to 9 pm talk with cust. care and get the date to resolve ur complaint,,,,,and i m personally assuring u,you people will get resolution with the time period to be given....thanks to give ur attention to read this truth

I place an order No. 700782539 for Premier camera with product code: 18218, but I received Wespro camera instead of original one.

I called on customer care they told to send product back. Also I said them - who will bear courier cost they told to send fax of that courier receipt on Fax : 0120-4242415.

I can see many post regarding like this issues of received another product instead of ordered one.

Because, I have ordered one product on 11th Feb with advanced paid. And it should be delivered on 18th Feb (the date was very important for me), but till now (today 19th Feb), it is not delivered. My experience with Homeshop18 has been very bitter. I had purchased a Convex portable DVD player. The product developed problems shortly which I sent for replacement. The details are as below-

After almost waiting for over a month for replacement, I asked for a refund. Now its been 3 months and everytime I call up customer care I get to hear the story that it will be processed in 7 to 10 working days. I never get any call back to update me on status. I have even spoken to senior guys like Himanshu and Karan but invain.
I feel extremely cheated and my patience has worn out.This is nothing short of harassment and if something is not done rightaway to solve my problem, I will be left with no option but to go to consumer court.
Hope that you being the CEO will address this issue.

My experience with Homeshop18 has been very bitter. I had purchased a GSM Handset; model is BLUE 450Z at 04.02.2009.

The product have already problem in Display when we open the parcel.
After we call regularly at SHOP 18 , they will say that please call to Customer care and when we call to customer care, they will say this is not our job, please call to shop 18. no body will give proper answer to us and every one will say this is not our related job …….
We don’t under how to replace our mobile?????
Actually this is my worst experience in my life.

If you are not interested to solve our problem will be left with no option but to go to consumer court.
Hope that you being the CEO will address this issue.

I’ll not take much of your time, I actually need some help in obtaining a refund from Home Shop18.

Just that I placed an order 701016585 (suborder 71042095), was not satisfied, sent it back on 17th March, HomeShop18 Portal shows as refunded, have been given a Request Info # 1323997 for the same.

But now some 3 weeks have elapsed and your customer service team was not able to mention, what is happening to the refund.

Looking forward to an interaction from your office.

I use to be a very happy consumer of HS18 but it seems to me that you have lost it all. I have been participated in many programs with HS but now I am turning towards disappointment. I acctually don't know where to start it from I had an issue with the Body Care product which was bought on April I did not get any result so tried to return it. Called up HS try to return that product but no one was even interested in my problem I got atleast 8-9 complaint numbers but nothing happened ultimately so I forgot it. Lately I got bought a mobile of Sigmatel from HS again but could not use it so gave it back to HS. I first called up HS there was a girl called Arpita who was argueeing with me and was such arogent that as if I have commited a crime and I straight way spoke to her supervizor named Puja and she was quite helpful to give the TNT qurier and the address where I have to send my product at chandni chowk. I have send it to them and called to HS cc back. There I was again giving a number which is 1930388 and I am asked to wait till next 14days.
This time I am really taking this matter very seriously and if it I don't get my money back within next 10days then I am going to take further step. Because you guys has always promised and has gurented always that there is a very easy way to avail to money back offers but when the time comes it dose not looks easy to me at all. I am a returning customer to Homeshop. I have placed orders worth more than Rs. 10000/-. However, unfortunately below mentioned order number has still not been delivered, even though the order was placed on 17th of September and payment was credited to you by 26th Sep. Every time, we call back; we get a different story.

Contact 1 : We havn't recd your money. (Even though it was already sent).
Contact 2 : We received your money, but you will receive the product in another 4-5 days.
Contact 3 : Some one will come over to collect the cash from you.
Contact 4 : We received your money and it all is packed and ready to be shipped out by the evening or next morning.
Contact 5 : The product is in back log and will get delivered to you in another 8-10 working days.

Frankly Mr. Sundeep; I dint loose the cool at the delay, but the contradictory statements of the support and customer staff is what takes me away from this company. People are not ready to acknowledge the lack of information and no one seems to take the accountability for such cases. And often when your staff doesn't has the answers, they do get offended.

I am Neeraj Patel from Bangalore I bought duel SIM mobile product code 45049(Airfone Duel SIM Flip 29i) and received the product on 28-Feb-2010.My order number is 702912435. The product worked for 2-3 days and then development an issue of invalid SIM. The Customer care representative confirmed that its due to IMEI number issue in the product and confirmed that product will be replaced with in 24 hrs of receiving the faulty product. She also confirmed that courier person will come to collect the product by next day.

I had to call customer care again as no one came to collect the product this time the customer care representative gave me the TNT courier contact number with my customer code and asked me to send the product.

I received a call from some local vendor at Bangalore that bring your product to our service center and we will what we can do about it.
I again contact the customer care and the person informed me that we cannot send the replaced product next 15 days or you take this product to local vendor for repair. I was not ready to go to this local vendor 1. I didn’t not trust if this is authorized vendor 2. He is very far from my place. So I informed customer care person that I am sending back the product to new Delhi address and I need the replacement ASAP as I am not able to use the product. I couriered the product on 13-Mar-09

I received the product on 23-Mar-2010 with broken screen and the mobile is not even starting.

I am very much disappointed with HOMESHOP18 first you gave me a defective product (IMEI number issue). Then I have to call customer care multiple time to report issue and now you send us a product which is broken. How you expect customer to trust you. How can u expect to give a positive feedback for you.
I am just waiting if I get my issues corrected

Hello Sandeep, I have a concerns and I am dealing with it from Feb 2010, I have ordered a Microwave oven on Jan 22nd 2010 and I got a message saying its been canceled, I called customer care and they confirmed the cancellation and also they informed that the amount will not be deducted from my account, However I received a mail saying that the package is ready and will receive on 22nd Feb, I got a call from courier service and I did not accepted that Order but I was been charged and I have paid 2 EMI'S for the product which I have not received, And I have made somany calls for refund and every time they ask me to wait for 96 hours, I am very frustrated with the service, I need my money to be refunded and also need compensation for the money which I have spent calling you people since 2 months.

I now dont see my previous interactions with your team in my login on homeshop18.com web page. What happended to it? Is it that it will taken away if the product expires? Also, the problem is still not resolved. It is ongoing from 2 months. Now, that the product has expired. I don’t see your team actively helping me.

Firstly, please train your customer service team for soft-skills. I dont think they can retain many customers if they talk in the manner they do. I have been in the customer service domain for around 15 years and more...

Now, that the problem is still around with my mobile I was expecting a refund for the same. The team whom I spoke to told me that my warranty period has expired and hence I will not receive the refund. I have been asking for refund before the mobile expiry period. They never talked about this then..Now that the warranty has expired, I am told as if your team is doing a great free favour to me. I dont need any favour. FIX THE PROBLEM. IF NOT REFUND THE MONEY. I know Rs. 6000 may not be a great amt. to you, but it is for me.

I am, however, sending the mobile again, please note this is the 4th time I am sending it. I AM FED UP OF THE INTERACTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS. HOW LONG CAN IT GO ON. I will make this communication to other forums who can address my issues or concerns if that means going to legal/press. DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY, I AM PRETTY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS CHARGE.

I am throughly disappointed and appaled by your service and product. It is a waste of my time and your time too. Never will recommend your product to any one and will share this experience with everyone.

Damaged Product
I have purchased Whirlpool Microwave Oven through HomeShop 18 online. While before ordering the product i have enquired about money back for this product and they confirmed that I will get my money back incase I am not satisfied with the product, So based on their words I have placed order to buy. They have shipped the product through Blue Dart courier on 7th Oct 2010, I received the product through Courier today 7th Oct 2010 but the box is damaged outside when I opened the pack and found the Front door Glass entirely broken.

I had called HomeShop 18 and registered the compliant on the same day (61047503) to get the replacement, they said they will inturn speak to their counterpart to replace the damanged product, but till now I havent got any reply from them about my replacement. Every day when I called them they are saying still they are awaiting for the response from their counterpart for this particular product. So I have given the deadline of 15th Oct 2010 to get replacement (OR) I want my money back. Even today when I called them to know the status they are not even bother to listen my words about it. So I have asked them to process my money back, they started telling for Whirlpool product there is NO money back.

Imagine yourself living in US and wanting to send some birthday present to your beloved niece in India. You select happily a TV Video Game and a Remote control Car from HomeShop18.

And when you are waiting a thankyou call from back home you receive a call from your beloved niece saying " The car tyres are twisted and Video game is not working either" . My personal question to you Mr. Sandeep: How would you feel then? Would you not consider to sue Homeshop18 or kill either yourself or the owner.

Over and above when you call the customer 'care', Mr Karan Sharma, supervisor customer 'care', says nothing can be done and do whatever you want. Go to court go to Consumer Forum.

Such a bad experience I had with your company, i cant explain in words.
